Magpie Monday - yet more clothes!

I know, I know.. when I link up for Magpie Monday (hosted by the lovely Missy Lizzie) it's almost always clothes for Ethan.  Clothes for Ethan are my vice though!  It seems most of the others who link up for Magpie Monday have specialist areas that they buy in, whether it's glassware, books, toys or clothes.  I try not to have too many nicknack's in the house, so perhaps that's why I go towards the clothing.  I do love a nosey at all the bric-a-brac, but often it's just not in my taste.

Anyway.. yet again from me, it's clothes for Ethan.  This time all bought from Age Concern.

First up, a pair of Next jeans, age 4.  These look like they've never been worn, they are in excellent condition and really good quality.

Next up, t shirst.  One is a brand I don't know, and the stripy one is H&M.  The H&M one is quite well worn, but they will both be great for when Ethan goes to pre-school in September.. at 79p each, it won't matter if they get trashed!!

I love charity shops!!

    1. Thanks! This is nothing though.. I am addicted to buying things ahead of time. I have a stockpile of clothes, some up to age 7 even though Ethan isn't even 3 yet! I have shoes in the next size up and wellies in the next 3 sizes!!

If it's in a charity shop especially, I can't resist!

  2. Great idea for stocking up for nursery. We had a letter go out to all parents recently asking not to send their kids in in their best designer gear as it gets ruined - they said "not your daughter though obviously". Wasn't sure whether to be proud or ashamed haha. x

    1. Haha.. I would take it as a complement. Obviously you have the sense not to send your daughter in her best gear! Doesn't mean she doesn't have any! I would think it's obvious really.. when we visited the one Ethan's going to, we were only there half an hour or so and in that time and he managed to get a stain on his trousers from the slide that despite soaking twice, using a pre wash soap and washing with a load of vanish, I can't get rid of. No way am I sending him in his good clothes! x

  3. I'm really impressed! The only nice clothes for boys that my local charity shops seem to have in are the items I've donated...

    1. That's annoying! It's weird when you come across stuff you've donated though, isn't it! That's happened to me before. Shame you're the only one near you donating the good stuff. I've not had the good luck to find much expensive stuff for me, but some really good stuff for Ethan, Rocher John Rocher, Boden, GAP and always loads of Next and H&M. x
