Last week it was another haul of clothes for Ethan. This is what I got:
Duck & Dodge t shirts, brand new. £1.50 |
John Lewis hoody, £1.25. Pretty good condition. |
H&M top - 75p & GAP t shirt - 75p |
Next jeans, brand new - £1.50 |
I also got these on eBay last week:
Russian Dolls - £4.00 inc postage |
Not a bad selection I thought!
This week we've not found too much. Ethan has wanted a buggy for ages and when we saw one for £1.00 in the charity shop, I thought, why not? It was in pretty good condition. I gave the seat a wash in the washing machine. Ethan adores it and spends hours running around the house with it! When we bought it he pushed it all the way home (a good 20 min walk).
That's it for this week.. don't forget to see what other bargain hunters have found by heading over to Missie Lizzie's blog!
You did well, I never seem to find much for my boys in the charity shops, it's all girly stuff or hideous stuff with Thomas the tank engine transfers on. The John Lewis stripy hoody is very cute and practical.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog name ;-)
Thank you - It's a name I'm quite fond of!!
DeleteYes, there'a always far more for girls, but then it's like that everywhere!! Like you say, most of the boy stuff is pretty hideous! x
Great priced clothes and loving the stacking dolls!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I love Russian/stacking dolls.. I already want more!
DeleteA toy buggy for a £1 is a bargain. Great Russian dolls and clothes too (like Lakota, I don't have much luck finding boys' clothes in charity shops)
ReplyDeleteI thought so too! x
DeleteThere is something about toy buggies isn't there? At play group Ramona and her chums can spend the whole two hours bustling up and down with their buggies.
ReplyDeleteGreat work :)
Oh yes. Since he was 10 months old, pushing buggies around has been Ethan's favourite thing to do!
DeleteI loved clothing my children with charity shop bargains - you did well with your finds this week!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I can't resist a clothing bargain!
DeleteGreat bargains, especially the buggy!
ReplyDeleteYes, it's already proved to be worth far more than the £1 spent on it!
DeleteGreat bargains. I'm such a huge fan of Russian dolls! Love them!
ReplyDeleteMe too! I bought these ones for my son to play with, but they're quite old I think and the paint has started flaking off them so I've had to put them on display instead.. but the point was for him to play with them because he loves them!! Will have to search for some newer ones..
DeleteYou and me would get on so well. I adore russian dolls! I love that Ethan has a buggy too, and the potty at the ready (in the pic). I guessing it's never too far away!
ReplyDeleteI think we would to! :) Ethan has always been mad over buggies.. I'm amazed I've not bought him one before to be honest!
DeleteYup.. potty and "pink seat" are always there on hand.. x
Yes the clothes are great and I LOVE the stroller but honestly how on earth is your house that clean!! Very impressed. I have a 2.5 year old girl and a 4 month old boy and can't seem to keep anything off the floor ahhhh!
ReplyDeleteHaha... Um. I'm a bit anal!! I only have one to look after though.. if you've got a 4 month old and a 2.5 year old, that's way harder! xx
