This week baby I promise...

It's Monday.. it's promise time, the lovely meme held by the fabtastic Mum of One.

I've been thinking over the weekend what I could promise to my little man this week.  I've come up with a bit of a random promise.

This week baby I promise... not to stress so much about the amount of TV you watch.  OK.  Stay with me on this one.  I think we all stress about the amount of TV we let our children watch.  I know I do.  When I think objectively though, and when I ask other people how much TV they let their children watch, I realise there's nothing excessive about Ethan's TV habits. Yes, he has it on quite often when we're at home, but we're also out of the house for many hours each day, going to to library, playgroups, riding his bike, walking, shopping.  I think in balance, it's nothing to worry about.

What are you promising this week?

  1. I have also found Alex to learn so much from some programmes too. Everything in moderation I say :)

  3. We all go through this don't worry! My LO watches tons of TV at the moment, but I'm not worried as I know that once the weather improves she'll be outside all of the time, so it doesn't matter!

    1. That's true Nikki, the weather does play a part, doesn't it!! I was thinking the same. Once it's spring/summer I imagine we'll be out in the garden as much as possible and TV will take a backseat.. Thanks for reading and commenting :)
