The February Sunshine Award!

Fanfare!! Excitement abounds! Myself and my humble blog are the recipients of not one, but two February Sunshine Awards!! The first is from my lovely fabby new blog and twitter buddy Snoo and Me and the second from another lovely blogger, the fantastic Mum of One - you may know her from her meme "This week baby I promise...".  It goes without saying, if you've not come across their blogs before, please go and check them out (after reading mine of course ;-D)

Well, with great awards come great responsibility.. I mean questions..  These are they!

Favourite colour:  I can never answer this!! It's a bit like the time I asked Ethan what his favourite colour was and he replied "rainbow".  I like that answer!  I just love really bold strong colours.  Green, blue, red, purple, orange, yellow, turquoise.  If it's pale/baby pink/blue/yellow, forget it!

Favourite animal: Owls.  I really do love owls.  I love any kind of owl object - pillows, paintings, jewellery, fabric prints with owls on.  I also love them though.  Their screechy noises, the way they turn their heads.  Watching them fly.  Fab.

Favourite non-alcoholic drink: Starbucks Mocha Frappachino.  I bloody love those things and will happily make a journey to the nearest service station that has a Starbucks for no other reason than to have one of those.. Mmmmmmmm.  I want one now.

Facebook or Twitter: Twitter.  It would have been Facebook not so long ago, but since I joined Twitter and started upping the game with my blog, Twitter is far more useful for me.  Especially when it comes to talking to other bloggers!

Favourite number: 6.  My birthday is the 6th May.  6 is a nice round number... why not!

Favourite day of the week: Friday.  The day always feels like a wind down, and the evening is the sweet spot.  That bit just after you've got the child/ren to bed and you realise this is the longest point you have until the week starts again.  The anticipation.  It's like Christmas Eve every week (let's face it, it's the run up and antici.....pation which is always the best bit!).

My passion: My little man, the light of my life.  Building a wonderful family life with hubby and little man.  If I'm honest, this blog is a passion as well.  A lot of hours get put into this baby!

Getting or giving presents: Giving.  I love shopping for presents for people.  It's such fun.  You get to spend money and shop, which I love, but it's guilt free because you're not buying for yourself!  I pride myself in really paying attention to what my friends and family like as well and getting something I hope they will love.  Let's be honest though, getting presents also rocks!

Favourite pattern:  I am a big fan of patterns.  I love lots.  Cath Kidston is a given really because I'm female.  I also love a bit of Orla Kiely - have her car print towels and bed linen.  But my favourite goes to Alexander Henry's Owl print.  Obvious really because I love owls, but look at the detail.  It's fab.  I have several cushion covers in this material.

Favourite flower: Hmmm. Orchids I would say.  Beautiful and delicate.  Like me *blush* Ha..
